The farmer suicide cases continue unabated as yet another farmer has ended his life in Odisha’s Bargarh district over alleged crop loss and debt burden.
The deceased farmer identified as Mantosh Haripal from Rupsa village under Barapalli area in the district had consumed pesticide yesterday and admitted to hospital.
As per reports, Haripal was under stress for crop loss and the subsequent failure to repay the loans availed for agricultural purpose. He was rushed to a nearby hospital yesterday night after he consumed consumed.
However, he succumbed this morning while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
