Two women were drugged and later robbed by an unidentified auto driver in the capital. They were rescued in an unconscious state near a temple in Bhubaneswar, Odisha yesterday.
The two women, residents of Surya nagar slum area had gone to the Shirdi temple in CRP chowk on Friday. While returning they reserved an auto-rickshaw, and on the way they asked the auto driver to get them some juice from the shop . According to police the women lost consciousness after drinking the juice after which they were robbed, and later dumped near Bhuasuni temple in Janla, .
The women were later found in an unconscious state near the Bhuasuni temple in Janla by the police. The 108 ambulance admitted them in the Capital hospital and one woman has been discharged.
