Kandhamal: A woman was allegedly gang-raped and robbed off after she was offered lift by four bike-borne men today in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, police said.

The incident took place at Changiripalli village under Chakapada police limits here between 9 and 11 pm on Wednesday.

As per the available information, the woman was on her way back home after visiting her relative on Chakapada-Phulbani road when the four men in two bikes offered her the lift, saying they will drop her home.

Seeing the woman writhing in pain this morning, the locals informed the police.
