Utkal University today announced +3 final year examinations results of all three streams – Arts, Science and Commerce – registering a total pass percentage of 88.66 percent.
The overall pass percentage of Science, Arts and Commerce stream is 88.66 percent with Science stream at top with 91 per cent followed by Arts and Commerce streams at 90 and 85 per cent.
Brajabandhu Samal – a student of Dayavihar (Degree) College in Kanas in Puri district – has been adjudged the best graduate in Science stream this year with 95.88 per cent, varsity sources said.
Notably, the result of 271 colleges affiliated to the premier university was published on its official website this afternoon.
Students can log on to www.uuems.in to know their results online.
“Mark sheets and certificates will be provided to students within a week after publication of results. For the first time it has been planned to dispatch ‘migration certificate’ of students to respective colleges,” Pradip Kumar Behera, Controller of Examinations, Utkal University, had informed yesterday.
However, results of those students who had back papers in First and Second Years would not be published now. Their results would be published by May 31st.
Total 50,332 number of students had appeared for the +3 Final Year Examinations, out of which maximum 35,110 were from Arts, 9,966 were from Science and 5,256 were from Commerce streams.
