Union Minister of State, MSME Giriraj Singh today visited Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and KIIT University in Odisha capital.


He visited various campuses of KIIT and units of KISS. On this occasion, Singh addressed 25, 000 students of KISS.

In his speech he said, I have not done one percent of work, what has been done by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KISS in my 30 years of public life. In our country there are many millionaires and billionaires, but I have not seen any one of them who have done such kind of work as done by Dr. Samanta.

He pledged students to uphold the unity, sovereignty and security of our country. Later he joined the Chhat Puja organized by students of KIIT from Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion he said, nobody should run away from their duty. Students have their duty to study while; teachers have their duty to teach. Every citizen of our country has their duty towards the prosperity, unity and security of the nation. Dr. Samanta also thanked Singh for his visit to KIIT and KISS in his busy schedule. Among others Binod Das, President, OPECA, R. N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS, Prof. P. P. Mathur, VC, KIIT University, Dr. Sasmitarani Samanta, Registrar were present on the occasion.
