Twin City Commissionerate police claimed to have solved a robbery case in Odisha capital with the arrest of two persons for their alleged complicity in the crime.
The culprit Nalu Swain was forwarded to court today following his arrest yesterday.
The accused had entered into the house of the complainant at AIIMS Road here on the intervening night of October 22 and 23 by breaking the window and committed the robbery. The accused persons also outraged the modesty of the complainant Zarina Khatun, police said.
After committing the crime, Nalu Swain sold the articles to one Dibakar Swain. Two gold chain and Rs 9000, two mobile phones have been revered from them. The receiver was also arrested.
The duo belongs to Beguniabasta under Astaranga police limits in Puri district.
