Two hard core Maoists held in Odisha

Koraput, June 19:

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel arrested two hardcore Maoists from Podapadar village under Narayanpatna police station limits in Odisha’s Koraput district this morning.

The arrested Maoists have been identified as Palu Wadeka and Rami Wadeka.

Acting on a tip-off about their presence, the BSF personnel raided Podapadar village and arrested them early in the morning.

Preliminary investigations has=ve revealed that the duo was involved in a series of violent incidents in Narayanpatna area.

Of the two arrested, Palu Wadeka was carrying a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head.

Meanwhile, police have begun interrogation of the two arrested Maoists.
