Eight men will be forwarded to the court, today, after being arrested in a compromising position with alleged sex workers during raids by commissionerate police quick action team, which busted two big sex rackets in the Odisha capital on Wednesday.
The commissionerate police quick action team with the help of their counterparts from Capital and Dhauli police station raided two places in Ashok Nagar and Dhauli yesterday. They rescued nine sex workers and nabbed eight customers, along with a lot of questionable content.
The police quick action team had previous information about the prostitution racket and simultaneously raided both the places.
One team under the Capital police station raided a beauty parlour in Ashoka Market in Ashok Nagar. Here, three women and four men were caught in compromising position along with a lot of objectionable content.
Similarly, under the Dhauli police station in Lingipur area the police team raided a rented house and six girls and four men were caught.
All the young men will be forwarded to court today, while the alleged sex workers will be taken to the Capital Hospital and then kept in short stay homes.
