Two persons were arrested by Kumbharpada police for allegedly duping several job aspirants to the tune of Rs 30 lakh. The arrested were identified as Purna Chandra Grahacharya and Debrat Nayak, hailing from Nayagarh and Balugaon respectively.


According to reports, the duo had collected the amount from many youths of Puri and Nayagarh areas on the pretext of providing them jobs in Railways.

One motorcycle, two ATM cards, two passbooks, cheque books and mobile phones were seized from them.

Police have started investigation into the matter to nab others involved in the case.
