Paradip, Oct 5:
All the six fishermen, who had gone missing in the Bay of Bengal along Odisha’s Paradip coast this morning when a fishing trawler capsized at the Mahanadi river mouth near the fishing harbour, have been rescued.
The fishing trawler carrying six fishermen was returning to the coast after a fishing expedition but it capsized after being hit by strong waves at around 8.30 AM today, eyewitnesses said.
While two of them had swam to the coast this morning, four others who had gone missing were rescued by the Marine Police.
Marine Police had launched search operations to rescue the missing fishermen.
