Sartaz Ali from Sukinda village in the Jajpur district of Odisha has won the covetous title of “Mr Handsome,” and has become the winner of “Top Model India Hunt,” held at Hotel Raddisson Blu, Dwaraka Sector -13, New -Delhi recently. This is a very big achievement for a small town boy.
Out of 40 tough competitors from across the country, only 20 were chosen and Sartaz won the crown beating 10 male models. One of the eminent judges was Dibakar Banerjee, director of Khosla ka Ghonsla .This competition came as a golden opportunity for aspirant models from across the country. Sartaz will be travelling to London to represent India in the World Model competition towards the end of April.
During his school days his dream was to become a super model. While pursuing higher studies in Bhubneswar he did his basic modeling training from First Academy of Media and Entertainment, under the guidance of John. He went to Delhi to hone out his modeling skills and came to know about the competition via the facebook. Sartaz did not lose the opportunity and was very lucky when he was selected for the audition. The difficult part came later with the three rounds that were the formal round, creative dress round and the designer dress round.He cleared these with panache and the world of modelling lies at his feet. You have to dream big to achieve big .
