Saheed Nagar police have registered a case in this regard and started investigating into it to trace the missing students (two girls and one boy).

“Three children, all of class tenth in the school, did not return to home after school on Tuesday. Worried over the incident, parents of the missing students first searched at all their relatives’ places to find out whether they have visited their house. They lodged a complaint with us today after failing to trace them,” said a police officer of Saheed Nagar police station.

“Meanwhile, we have come to know that Puri Beach police have rescued two girls of the school while they were strolling on the sea beach wearing school uniform along with identity cards on their necks. A team of Saheed Nagar police staff have left the city this evening to bring the rescued students here,” the police officer added.

Police sources also said that after school, the girl students had gone to a cinema hall in the city in Saheed Nagar area to watch a film and from there they had gone to Puri.

“We will interrogate the rescued girls and will trace the boy based on their statements,” the police officer added.
