In two separate developments, three suspected Maoists were nabbed and 20 kg of explosives recovered by security forces on Wednesday in Maoist-affected Sundargarh and Keonjhar districts in Odisha.
A CRPF patrol party caught three suspected Maoists in the Patrapalli area under Bisra police limits in Sundergarh district.
They have been handed over to the local police.
They have been identified as Rajkumar Sahu (21), Uma Sahoo (22) and Anil Lakra (23), said sources in the CRPF.
In a separate incident, CRPF personnel recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) weighing 10 kg each from a forested area in the Daitari mining belt in Keonjhar district, which were planted reportedly to target security forces, said CRPF sources.
