Swine flu toll rises to 29 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The death toll in swine flu has increased to 29 in Odisha as two more persons succumbing to the H1N1 virus, official sources today.

While one of the affected two persons died during treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack, another succumbed at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar.

Of the 24 swab samples tested at the Regional Medical and Research Centre (RMRC) here today, 5 were found positive.

As many as 297 persons have so far been tested positive for the vector-borne disease in the State, an official said.
