The number of swine flu cases in Odisha rose to 45 with the identification of one more patient in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
Sources in the Public Health department said the swabs of five patients were sent to the Regional Medical Research Centre of which the swab of a 64-year-old man of Sahid Nagar area in the city was found H1N1 positive.
The condition of the patient, undergoing treatment at a private hospital, is stated to be stable, the sources added.
Till date a total of 220 swabs have been tested at the RMRC of which 45 have been tested positive.
So far, seven patients have died of swine flu in the state.
