There is no discrimination in the modelling world, it is open to all talented persons from all walks of life, beauty queen, model and Femina Miss India runners up Sushree Shreya Mishra said during a felicitation ceremony in Sambalpur.
“Girls from various professions can become models, there are no restrictions in the glamour world. The only mantra to success is availability of opportunity and some luck,” said Sushree Shreya Mishra.
“The most important thing is trying, it’s only with constant efforts that one can succeed in the modelling world”, she added. Mishra was speaking at a felicitation ceremony on Thursday by local MLA Raseswari Panigrahi to honour the Sambalpuri girl.
Shreya’s mother Sabitarani Panda was also present in the occasion. She has given the mantra for entry into modelling world to the girls of the state. She advised them not to hesitate and make a serious attempt for the profession. The modelling world is very challenging, but one must wait for opportunities.
“There is no fixed stage you need to go through for becoming a model. It is a process that you need to go through of development, a personality you have to groom. If you are good and talented then things will happen,” said the international model.
“I love cinema, I love acting and have a love of art. I am waiting for a good acting opportunity”, she said about her future plans.
This is the beginning of a wonderful future for Odisha. Odisha has now received the national as well as international repute, said the beautiful Sambalpuri beauty.
Standing tall at 5 ft 9’, Sushree has won many contests. She was crowned as Asian Supermodel India in 2010 ans Miss Friendship in International Asian Supermodel 2010 contest in China. In 2013, she participated at the inaugural edition of Miss Diva contest and became one of the Top 7 semifinalists and also won I AM Popular special award in I Am She – Miss Universe India.
She had won the title of Miss Photogenic in Miss United Continent 2015 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She had earlier also won the Miss National costume round in the international beauty contest were 28 girls from 28 countries were competing with each other.
