The locker was located on the basis of information extracted from Trilochan Mishra, the elder son of the Baba, on the first day of his third round of three-day remand today, Crime Branch sources said.

Gold ornaments weighing about 350 grams have been recovered by sleuths of the agency from the bank locker during a search operation conducted today.

The controversial fortune-teller invested a whopping Rs 4.5 crore on construction of the Shiva temple, which is among the major attractions of Trahi Achyta Nagar built by him, revealed sources in the crime branch.

The beautiful milky white main temple in the ashram, which is about 150 feet tall, also has a water body and facility for toy train ride.

“The toy train, which was acquired to get tourist destination tag for the ashram from the State Government, was purchased at a cost of Rs 48 lakh while another Rs 28 to 30 lakh was spent towards various precious statues (brass idols),” said Additional Director General, Crime Branch, BK Sharma.

Crime branch officials said that the toy train, which used to cost Rs 20 for a single ride by visitors, was procured from Gujarat.
