State Cabinet to meet today; 15 items on agenda

The Odisha Cabinet would meet here this evening to discuss and take a decision on a host of issues.

The meeting, to be presided over by chief minister Naveen Patnaik, would be held at the State Secretariat here at 5 pm, official sources said.

Though the details of the agenda are not yet known due to the ongoing session of the State Assembly, reliable sources, said the meeting would discuss the report of the Justice AS Naidu Commission of Inquiry in the hooch deaths in Khorda and Cuttack districts and approve the recommendations of the Commission.

Besides, the meeting would also discuss the increase of government share in the Markfed to the tune of Rs 205 crore, the sources added.
