Twin City Commissionerate police arrested six members of a two-wheeler theft gang from Odisha capital late last night, police said today.

According to sources, Nayapalli police arrested a member of the gang who spilled the beans on intense grilling. Following this, other five members were rounded up.

As many as 11 motorcycles were recovered from Salia Sahi in the cityh and various locations in Aska.

The accused hailing from Aska in Ganjam district have been identified as Niladri Nayak, Gunu Pradhan, Subrat Pradhan, Bana Nayak, Shankar Das and Santosh Sehti.

Gunu Nayak is said to be the mastermind of the gang.

The members used to lift bikes from Bapuji Nagar, Chandrasekharpur, Master Canteen area and hide them in Aska.

The gang was active in the city since last two years, police sources said.
