New Delhi, Aug 25 :
Amid speculation that she might resign, Kerala Governor Sheila Dikshit will Monday meet President Pranab Mukherjee.
Dikshit, who met Home Minister Rajnath Singh earlier Monday, refused to say if she intended to step down. She said it was her duty to call on the president.
“I always call on the president when I am in town. It is my duty to call on the president,” she told reporters.
Asked if there was pressure on governors to quit, the former Delhi chief minister said: “You are answering your own questions.”
