Nabarangpur, March 8:

The addiction of clicking a selfie has taken the life of a young man in Odisha on Monday.

During the auspicious celebration of the Mahashivaratri, a 22 year old youth fell to his death from a 30 feet high hill in Ghumareswar temple premises in Tentulikhunti block of Nabarangpur district.

The deceased was identified as Akur Bagh, from Jaipatna of Kalahandi district.

Akur Bagh slipped down from a 30 feet altitude while clicking a selfie with his two friends and posing precariously on the foothills of the Ghumareswar temple.

Despite searching for him desperately the two friends failed to trace him.

Later, he was found badly injured by devotees and was immediately rushed to  the Tentulikhunti hospital where he was again referred to Nabarangpur hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
