Second international flight lands in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar, May 28:
A chartered flight with four passengers landed at the Biju Patnaik International airport here today. Operated by Ligare Aviation Ltd, the Falcon 7 X type aircraft bears registration no VT-RGX.

Biju Patnaik International AirportThe flight, which originated from Luton Airport near London (UK), reached Bhubaneswar International Airport after 10 hours of non stop flying.The passengers were greeted warmly by Airport staff.

Custom and Immigration facility were provided as per rule at the Airport.Ground Handling facilities were provided by Saxon Air Services Pvt. Ltd.

The 15 seater chartered plane would leave Bhubaneswar International Airport for Mumbai at 8 pm today.

It was the second international non-scheduled flight operation from the airport after the Ministry of Civil Aviation declared it an International Airport. The first International flight carrying 12 passenger and 3 crew member from Spain had landed at the airport on May 5.

Another flight from Nigeria is expected on June 5, said a press release issued by the airport authority.
