Bhubaneswar, June 23:

Pradip Kumar Dash, son of Prashant Dash chairman-cum-managing director (CMD) of Seashore Group, today lodged a complaint report with the Laxmisagar Police station alleging that some persons, identifying themselves as from the Crime Branch, barged into his family home at Laxmisagar here and took away some photographs.

In his complaint report Dash has stated that around midnight on Sunday two persons impersonating Crime Branch officials entered their residence NA Majestic at Shantinagar under Laxmisagar police limits here while he was with his mother. The duo, came with walkie talkie and searched their home during which they took three photographs from his room.

The complainant further said the officials have taken three photos in which his father was shown standing next to VVIPs and other dignitaries.

However, the police is unwilling to buy the story for the simple reason that Crime Branch officials are not equipped with walkie talkie and they have already searched Prashant Dash’s home thrice before. ” Why should the CB search their home for the fourth time and that too at midnight”, a police official said while describing the complaint as a “cooked-up” story.

Laxmisagar police said they have registered a case and are inquiring into the matter. A scientific team has visited Dash’s house.

  1. What a joke! This is nothing but a conspiracy to divert the attention of people of Odisha. Today one newspaper has published all three photos which were allegedly taken away by unidentified persons from Laxmi Sagar residence of Prashant Dash on sunday midnight. It is a foolish act of some brainless people to divert the attention of public and I think public of Odisha have got common sense to understand the actual idea behind creating such flop show.
