Samaleshwari Express mishap: Trains diverted, partially cancelled in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) today diverted and partially cancelled some trains following accident of Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleshwari Express between Singapur Road and Keutguda in Odisha’s Rayagada district leaving three railway staff killed and several passengers injured.

Those trains running between Rayagada and Koraput have been diverted and partially cancelled.

Diverted:

18488 Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express from Jagdalpur on June 25 will run on diverted route via Koraput –Kothavalasa-Vizianagaram route bypassing Vizianagaram section.

 

Partially cancelled:

  1. 18108 Jagdalpur-Rourkela Express from Jagdalpur on June 24 will run up to Laxmipur Road and will run as a passenger special from Laxmipur to Jagdalpur.

 

2. 58301/58302 Sambalpur-Koraput Passenger from Sambalpur on June 25 and from Koraput on June 26 will run between Sambalpur and Rayagada and will remain cancelled between Rayagada and and Koraput from both the directions.

 

3. 18005/18006 Howrah-Jagdalpur –Howrah Sameleswari Express from Howrah on June 24 and from Jagdalpur on June 26 will run between Rayagada and Howrah and remain cancelled between Rayagada and Jagdalpur from both the directions.
