Bhubaneswar, Apr 13:
Suspended BJD MP from Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat in Odisha Rudramadhab Ray has hit back at the party describing his suspension as ‘hilarious’ and sounding a note of warning saying the party would pay a ‘heavy price’ for it.
Ray did not pull any punches as he directly accused Energy Minister and Nayagarh MLA Arun Sahu of masterminding the suspension order on him. “The decision to suspend me was taken at the behest of Arun Sahu,” the Kandhamal MP said.
Reacting to Ray’s accusation against him, Sahu said the decision to suspend Ray was taken entirely by party chief Naveen Patnaik and he had no role in it.
Accusing Ray of campaigning for the Congress candidate, the minister said; “His utterances against me are nothing but dementia caused by senility.”
