As we heard love is blind, an one-sided love dragged a youth behind bars for the second time on Tuesday who was earlier arrested and sent to jail for allegedly proposing a young woman in Odisha capital.


According to reports, Twin City Commissionerate police yesterday arrested a fire personnel identified as Subudhi Kandi (29) of Naranagarh village under Jankia police limits in Khordha district who was later sent to Jharpada Jail after rejection of his bail plea in a local court

He was arrested on charges of humiliating a PhD student of a private engineering college in Khandagiri area of Bhubaneswar.

The accused ‘Romeo’ has an one-sided love with the woman and used to beg her love frequently robbing her self-esteem following which the victim had filed a complaint with police.

Acting on the complaint, police had forwarded the road side Romeo to court arresting him on November 13.

However, he did not spare the PhD scholar returning from jail on bail and frequented his turn.

Last evening Subudhi reached at the victim and misbehaved her warning to splash acid if she ignores his marriage proposal.

Police reached the spot on being informed about the incident and took him into custody and forwarded to court.

Later, he was sent to Jharpada jail on rejection of his bail plea.
