Bhubaneswar, Sep 5:
Rain/Thundershower would occur at most places over Odisha during next 24 hours, the weather department said this afternoon.
Extremely heavy rainfall would occur at one or two places over the districts of Central Odisha while one or two places over the rest of the districts of Odisha would experience heavy to very heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours, the Met office said.
Gusty surface wind with speed reaching 45 to 55 kmph gusting to 65kmph may prevail along and off Odisha Coast.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea.
Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over Northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood, a Low Pressure Area has formed over North Bay of Bengal off West Bengal-Bangladesh Coasts today.
Other low pressure area over West Rajasthan and Neighbourhood now lies as a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas of Haryana and Punjab but another low pressure over Kutch and neighbourhood has been less marked.
