Bhubaneswar, Sept 21:
Rains will continue across most parts of Odisha and there is every likelihood of heavy rainfall over north Odisha during the next 24 hours.
The local Met Centre’s afternoon bulletin said, “yesterday’s Well Marked Low Pressure Area over north-west Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal coasts has moved over to Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining areas of Jharkhand and Odisha today.”
As a result of this, along with rain, gusty surface wind speed, reaching 45 to 55 kmph and gusting to 60 kmph, will prevail along and off north Odisha coast.
Fishermen in north Odisha have been advised not to venture into sea.
