The Puri-Bhanjpur special train services will be continued till March last week to avoid inconvenience to the passengers, according to ECOR.
The special weekly train services from Puri to Bhanjpur in Baripada district was to be cancelled from March 18-19, after low passenger turn out.
But keeping in mind the inconvenience caused to the passengers the train has been extended to March last week.
This weekly train which started from March 25, 2016 every Friday departs from Puri at 6:45 pm and next day reaches Bhanjpur at 3 am early morning.
The train leaves Bhanjpur at 11:15 pm and reaches Puri at 5:30 am.
ECoR General Manager Rajeev Bishnoi has instructed extension of the services of the train based on public demand.
