‘Puntu Nana…’ show on Odisha cuisines completes one year

‘Puntu Nana nka Peta Jatra’, the most popular TV food show in  Odisha completed its glorious first year this Sunday.

The unique food show on leading Odia entertainment channel Sarthak TV, was launched a year ago with an aim to revive and popularize Odia and Indian traditional cuisine.

Puntu Nana-nka Peta Jatra’, which explores  the myriad varieties of traditional and local cuisines of Odisha, has gained immense popularity across the state over the last one year.

Puntu Nana, the anchor of the show, played by popular actor Antaryami Panda, has visited virtually every corner of the state and met with people to learn the unique traditional and local tasty recipes over the last one year.

Today Puntu Nana is a household name in Odisha and gets invitation everyday from people  across the state to come and learn a tasty traditional recipe from them.

The show has been able to elicit  appreciation from the viewers for its unique content, style, treatment and presentation.

Jointly produced by the reputed ad agency Sanket and creative group Light House Production, Puntu Nana-nka Peta Jatra, has now become a popular family show that not only teaches methods of preparing unique recipes but also entertains viewers of all age groups with its quotient of humour and fun.

Different in content, tone and treatment, Puntu Nana nka Peta Jatra, is available on the Sarthak channel every Sunday at 6.30 pm.
