The process for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) counseling for admission of the lateral entry students in the B.Tech courses began in the state today.
After the registration, the students will select their institutions on the basis of their rank and branch of study.
Later, allotment of seats would be made after verification of their documents.
According to OJEE sources, admission in the 801 seats of 80 government technical institutes and 26,475 seats of 88 private technical institutes would be held in the current academic session.
While counseling for admission in M.Tech and M.Pharma courses would begin from June 20, counseling for admission in MBA, MCA and PGDM would begin from June 26.
This apart, OJEE would also conduct the counseling for admission in various medical colleges of the state from June 27.
Students, after registering their name, will have to verify their documents at 25 nodal centres and prefer their desired institutions.
