A pressure bomb, believed to have been planted by Maoists, was recovered from Pasaraganda forest under Adaba police limits in Gajapati district of Odisha today.
A bomb squad from Paralakhemundi reached the place and defused the explosive besides seizing 50 kg gelatin, tiffin bomb, 40 metres wire and gun powder from the spot.
As combing operation is being carried out by security personnel in the area, it is suspected that the Maoists might have committed the act to harm the former.
