Bhubaneswar, Oct 30:
The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) Tuesday donated Rs 2 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation cyclone and flood affected victims.
PGCIL chairman R K Nayak on Tuesday handed over a cheque for Rs 2 crore to Chief minister Naveen Patnaik at the state secretariat here.
The Odisha State Cooperative Bank and Odisha State Agricultural Marketing Board have also contributed Rs 1 crore each to the CMRF for providing relief and assistance to the cyclone and flood affected victims. Cooperation minister Bikram Keshari Arrukh presented the cheques to the Chief Minister on Tuesday.
