Polygraph test finds ‘no clues of Jessy’s involvement’ in Raja’s death

In a major relief to popular Odisha telly actor Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal alias Jessy, the polygraph test report has found no clues of her involvement in the death of actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja, revealed sources.

The polygraph test report of actor Jessy submitted by the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) to the Balasore police today said majority of the statements of the actor were true, said sources.

Sources said the report stated that her statements on her live-in relationship and marriage are not matching.

Jessy, who was arrested on February 16 by Soro police on charges of abetment to suicide in the telly actor Raja’s death case, had undergone polygraph test on February 17 at the SFSL for a marathon six hours.

Currently, she is lodged in the Soro sub jail after her bail plea was rejected by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court Soro on the day of arrest.

Later she has moved the District & Sessions Judge Court Balasore seeking bail, the hearing of which has been posted to March 1.
