Rourkela, Feb 28:
Odisha Police and militants of People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) cadre today exchanged fire in a forest near Biramitrapur of Sundargarh district.
As per sources in the police, five motorcycles and a pistol have been seized after the two hour long fire exchange.
While there have been no reports of casualties on either side, combing operations are still going on inside Bangera jungle and adjacent areas to nab the ultras.
High alert has been issued in bordering areas to check infiltration of PLFI cadre into Odisha.
