Erstwhile king of Paralakhemundi Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo, who was discharged from Apollo Hospital in Chennai yesterday and was on his way back to home after more than four months of treatment, had to return back to the hospital from Chennai International Airport on Tuesday as his health condition deteriorated disappointing citizens of Paralakhemundi who were anxious to have a glimpse of their beloved king.
The king will return back after two days of special treatment under super specialists of the hospital, informed a source close to the royal family.
According to reports, a special seat was arranged by Spice Jet officials for the king, but his health condition deteriorated after he reached at the airport following which the airline officials found it difficult to board him on the plane.
His daughter Kalyani also did not agree to bring him back to Parala and the king was readmitted to the hospital.
