Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) Deputy General Manager (DGM), Finance Rabindra Dalei today appeared at the Paradip police station in connection with the murder of Seaways Shipping and Logistics Private Limited (SSPL) General Manager Mahendra Swain.


According to reports, the financial transactions of the firm during the murder are being probed.

Paradip police had on January 8 served notice to Dalei and OSL Managing Director Mahimananda Mishra’s two sons Chandan and Charchit to appear before it by January 11.

Notably, Mishra has been arrested over his alleged involvement in the murder which took place in Paradip on October 26 last year.

He is currently lodged in Samagol jail in Jagatsinghpur.

According to police, one Rakesh Choubey had received Rs 12 lakh cash in advance from OSL in September 2016 to execute Swain.
