Another farmer has committed suicide by hanging from a tree, allegedly due to poor crop and heavy loan burden, in Sundargarh district, Odisha, today.
The farmer Bijay Nayak, a resident of Faguagada village in Sundargarh district had taken loans from private moneylenders and government agencies.
He had 4 acres of farmland, where he had planted paddy. Due to poor rain all his crops were destroyed, this made him take the extreme step and hang himself, his family has alleged.
