The Department of Business Administration of Utkal University, in association with the Centre for Agri Management, will organise a two-day conference on ‘Agri for Odisha’ from November 28.
The conference would deliberate on creation of awareness among agriculturists on techniques of agriculture, timings of sowing crops and formulation of an advance plan in this regard.
A number of state-based companies working in the field of agriculture, agriculturists, agri management students and renowned academicians would participate in the conference.
“The conference would help motivate the younger generation towards agriculture and hone a career in agri business,” Prof Sukumar Dash, one of the faculties at the Centre, informed.
“The objective of the conference is to nurture the youth to pursue business in agriculture as there is a growing need to help the agrarian economy flourish since scientific development it is equally important to educate the future entrepreneurs on technicalities of the field,” said Prof Susant Khuntia.
