Odisha’s most popular spices brand ‘Ruchi’ has opened a stall at the ninth Annapoorna World of Food-India-2014 international exhibition that began at the Bombay Exhibition Centre on Wednesday in Mumbai.
Ruchi brand’s most popular spices, semolina, pasta and different traditional food products for the last 39 years have found place in the company’s stall at the exposition, said a company press release.
While Ruchi’s stall was inaugurated by Axis Bank’s senior vice president Nikesh Sinha, the bank’s vice president Biswaranjan Nanda launched the brand’s new products.
The brand’s basmati rice, actirice prepared from wheat atta, olive oil, idli rawa, kheermix, pasta, macaroni, dal tadka, dalia, veg and chicken biriyani mix, Ruchi chhatua, fish and meat masala, rasile of frozen division, kuchha aam ras and other traditional products were big hits among the visitors.
It may be mentioned here that Ruchi has been participating every year at the international food exhibition organized by Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCl) at Mumbai.
Ruchi’s directors Arabinda Sahu, Rashmi Sahu, Salina Sahu and the company’s distribution official Ramesh Khatua participated in the event.
The Odisha government’s Industry, Horticulture and Fisheries departments, ORMAS and more than 180 companies from France, Afghanistan, Greece, America, Spain, Austria, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Portugal and Romania have opened stalls at the exhibition.
