It may sound unbelievable, but it’s true: Odisha’s most popular Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had last visited the Grievance Cell seven long years back!
It was revealed in the written reply by General Grievance and Pension Administration minister Jogendra Behera in the assembly in response to a question of BJP MLA Dilip Ray.
The reply said two officers in the rank of Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary, have been running the show on his behalf.
The written reply said Patnaik had last visited the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell at Unit-5 close to the state secretariat on August 16, 2008.
It said during the last 15 years of his rule, Patnaik has visited the Grievance Cell and himself heard complaints of people on 76 occasions, the highest being 20 days in 2001.
