He said these steps would go a long way in increasing exports from Odisha.
The Chief Minister said because of his government’s proactive steps, the state had registered a significant growth in exports, from merely Rs 5,063 crore in 2001-02 to Rs 19,082 crore in 2015-16.
“Due to collective efforts of our exporters, the value of exports between 2015-16 and 2016-17 registered a phenomenal growth of 114 per cent from Rs 19,082 crore to Rs 40,872 crore,” Patnaik said. (IANS)
