Baripada: A married woman alleged her in-laws of forcing her into flesh trade here in Mayurbhanj district.
The father of the victim demanded police to arrest in-laws family members for the condition of her daughter.
The victim alleged that she was exploited sexually for the past eight years and sold in Kolkata and later in Mumbai.
According to reports, the victim was found unconscious on September 5 in Bhadrak railway station. Some volunteers had rushed her to newly opened Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College in Baripada. After getting information her father reached the hospital to see her, who was missing in the past nine years.
The victim revealed the truth before her father about her missing.
The reports said that the woman of Palasbani village under Kuliana police limits had love marriage with a person of Lunachati village under Rasagobindapur police limits nine years ago. The couple had a son. However, her in-laws started blaming her after death of their son in 2009.
The victim alleged that her in-laws family engaged her in sex trade after selling her at BK Pal lodge located in Sonagachhi in Kolkata with help of two brokers. She managed to escape and arrived in her in-laws house. However, few days later her husband and brokers again sold her at a lodge in Mumbai. She was forced to be engaged in flesh trade there for seven years.
After she suffered from illness the lodge owner and the employees tonsured her head and sent her to Odisha on a train.
