A day after the Executive Engineer of Mohana Rural Works Division Shiris Sahu was arrested and forwarded to court on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income, Odisha Vigilance today seized property worth Rs 1.75 crore from him.
Vigilance sleuths also found a three-storied building worth about Rs 1 crore under his ownership.
Further, Rs 4.5 lakh in cash was also recovered during the raid conducted at the quarter and houses of Sahu.
Sahu has been under the scanner of Vigilance since quite some time and the raids on his office and various properties across the state began on April 9 as we reported here.
