Bhubaneswar, Sep 11:
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) would conduct the Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) on September 27.
As many as 1, 05, 535 candidates would appear for the OTET this year at 223 centres across the state, BSE sources said.
The applicants appearing for the teachers’ eligibility test 2015 would not be issued hard copy of their examination hall admit card. Applicants will have to download their admit card from Board of Secondary Education’s (BSE) official website — www.prestigeresults.in — by entering their application number provided to them, Board sources said.
Notably, the test will be held in two sittings–10 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
Candidates, appearing for OTET 2015, must bring with them their admit card compulsorily, failing which they would not be allowed into the examination hall.
It may be mentioned that the BSE conducts OTET twice a year to recruit eligible candidates for teacher posts.
OTET is a compulsory examination for all B.Ed qualified candidates to be considered for teacher’s jobs in schools run by the government and private managements.
