Odisha student secures 6th position in AIIMS MBBS entrance test

Aditya Mishra from Odisha has secured the 6th position in the all India entrance test for admissions to MBBS courses in all the seven All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) including Delhi results of which were announced today.

Navsin Singhal has emerged as the topper in the test.

Out of around two lakh aspirants who had appeared for the entrance 2,250 have qualified in the entrance examinations.

The entrance test was held for a total 672 MBBS seats.

The candidates, who had appeared the entrance, can access their results at http://aiimsexams.org

Since the total number of candidates eligible for the counselling are four times of actual number of seats advertised, the candidates are advised to carefully read the instruction as given in their counselling call letter. It has been decided that for allocation of seats, physical counselling will be done. Candidates will exercise their choice of the institute when called during the counselling as per their rank in their respective category, not withstanding whatsoever choices he/she has made while filling the application form. Hence, the choice made by the students will be final and no claim will be entertained in this regard, said a notification uploaded on http://aiimsexams.org on June 1 this year.
