The answer sheets of plus two arts, science, commerce and vocational training have reached their destination and the checking will start from April fourth, according to Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Examination Controller Biranchi Narayan Mishra.
Due to strict vigilance, around 2250 students have been caught for malpractice during Plus two exams this year. The first phase of the evaluation will take place from April 4 to April 13, and the second phase from April 16 to 25.
The science and commerce papers checking will be done through e-valuation. The copies have been scanned and teachers have been provided with training, he added. Around seven thousand teachers will be involved in checking of papers.
Meanwhile, the teachers of 488 and 662 category colleges in February had launched an agitation demanding abolition of block grant and implementation of grant-in-aid (GIA) irrespective of their categories. They have threatened to boycott the evaluation process.
Mishra has said that the issue will be discussed by the mass education department officials to find a solution to the problem.
