Odisha Plus Three admission: First phase cutoff mark, merit list declared

Bhubaneswar, July 9:

The cutoff mark and the merit list for the first phase admission in the Plus Three Degree courses in Odisha were declared here today.

Students can check their names in the merit list from the notice board of their colleges or by browsing the website of the Higher Education department www.dheodisha.in and download their intimation letters for admission.

The Higher Education department would also intimate the students through e-mail or SMS.

The first phase admission would begin from July 14 and continue till July 17.

A total of 2,05,684 students had applied for admission in the Arts, Science and Commerce streams out of a total of 1,51,728 seats in 704 government and private Degree colleges in the state, for which 1,36,711 students have been selected.

The cutoff marks for Arts, Commerce, Science and CBZ streams in the BJB College, Bhubaneswar are 68.67, 83.83, 91.40 and 88.80 percent respectively.

The cutoff marks of other colleges are:

Sailabala Women’s College, Cuttack: Arts-61.08, Physical Science-79.67, Biological Science-77.67, Self-financing-60.33

RD Women’s College, Bhubaneswar: Arts-58.83, Commerce- 73, Physical Science-87.40, Biological Science-84.17, Self-financing-65.50

Khallikote Autonomous College, Berhampur: Arts, Physical Science-82.33, Biological Science-74, Commerce-73.17

GM College, Sambalpur: Arts-62.50, Physical Science-81.50, Biological Science-75.20

The second phase cutoff marks and merit list would be declared on July 22 while the admission would take place from July 25 to 28.

The spot admission would be held on August 5 after which regular classes would commence from August 7, sources in the Higher Education department said.
