Bhubaneswar, Mar 6:
Odisha Nursing Employees Association (ONEA) has threatened to go on a strike from March 25 if its ten-point charter of demands is not met with by the state government.
The ONEA’s demands include implementation of RSP in nursing service, regularization of jobs of contractual nurses under National Health Mission (NHM) after six years of service and hike in monthly wages.
Members of the ONEA will wear black badges as a mark of protest from March 8 to press for their demands and would resort to cease work from March 25 if the government fails to fulfill their demands, ONEA office-bearers told at a press meet here.
