While refusing to give details, CBI sources confirmed that Bunty had shot the video in which Kalia is seen in a sexual act with a receptionist at his real estate firm.

A CBI team is currently in the city with Kalia, who is on a seven-day remand granted by a Delhi court.

On Saturday, the CBI team had raided a house in Bhimtangi area in the city where the MMS clip was allegedly shot.

CBI had earlier conducted raids at four places, including Kalia’s rented house at VSS Nagar (Plot No. BL 5) and his office and residence at GGP Colony (Plot No. 912/913) in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The cops had seized several pen drives and CDs from his office and residence, which suggested that he had lured several other girls into sex as well, shot videos of the act and circulated them on various internet based platforms, including WhatsApp.

It may be noted that the MMS clip of the receptionist had first leaked out back in 2010, following which the girl lodged a verbal complaint with the Commissionerate Police.

Later, she had filed a petition with the Supreme Court with the help of a voluntary organization.

Sahu was arrested on March 24 after the Supreme Court ordered the CBI to probe the videos of sexual acts, including rapes or gang rapes, of unidentified victims uploaded on social networking sites, including WhatsApp, by unknown people.

CBI booked Sahu on charges of common intention, circulating obscene material and assault to woman with intent to outrage her modesty under provisions of Indian Penal Code, besides sections of the Information Technology Act relating to violation of privacy and publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form.

The apex court had taken suo motu note of a letter of Hyderabad-based NGO Prajwala on the posting of two rape videos on WhatsApp and asked CBI to launch a probe forthwith to nab the culprits.
